1854: Portrait of the author as a 10-year-old
In 1990, when I was 10, the following video struck me as so risque that it merited my sitting only a few feet from the TV. This allowed me to watch the video without having to turn the volume on the TV to anything above a whisper, which evidently seemed like the best defense against parental attacks on WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU WATCHING! Not that this would ever actually happen in our house, where most movies watched as a family seemed to involve dismemberment and anything cheeky on the screen was drowned out by polite conversation. In any event, I thought this video was so racy I shouldn't be caught watching it; in hindsight, it's just awesomely LOL-worthy.
