1679: More Bunny Trouble: Update #3

The amazing people at The Center for Avian and Exotic Medicine on the Upper West Side operated on Dewey today to remove the lump I found on his stomach.

The lump itself had lessened in size and hardened since it was examined on Saturday. The vet removed tissue mass from the abscess -- we won't know until the results from the lab come back whether it's cancerous or not.

He'll be at the vet's office until tomorrow when we can, hopefully, take him home. They warned that the incision will be quite large, and that he'll be on another round of antibiotics again.
