1649: Bunny trouble - Update #2

Sadly, it'll be another night without Dewey.

His blood work indicates an infection which probably caused his stomach problems; he's on antibiotics and being bottle-fed. This afternoon he was able to be convinced to eat a little parsley but he's only responding to being hand-fed and won't eat on his own. Based on the doctor's recommendation and our own concerns about taking him home before he's sufficiently recovered, we're opting to leave him in their capable hands for another night. As much as I'd like to have him here, I'd much rather avoid another panicked trip to the vet. Hopefully, he'll be stable enough to be taken home tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Until then, he'll be under the watchful eye of the night nurse...
