1016: Movie of the year? You know its name.

Pete is not into sleeping. He'll do anything to avoid having to go to sleep at night, whereas I'm 100% for sleeping and will accept any opportunity for sleeping/napping/passing into a coma-like state with open arms. Without sufficient sleep, I don't function well at all, but before you go and assume that means I'm a weak, little sissy, I'm going give you a hard slap right on the ear and remind you not to underestimate me. Well, maybe not. But I could.

Anyway.

Pete will do just about anything to keep me from going to sleep at night because, apparently, my company is worth all the threats of physical violence. Consequently, I'm sometimes very tired -- today is one of those days. Although it's been a short week, I haven't gotten much sleep in the past couple of nights and while I can stand that for a little while, the ill effects of staying up late catch up quickly. No one is to ask me any spelling, directions, simple math questions until, like, 11 -- or whenever I've had a few cups of tea. I mean, this is actually a concern. For whatever reason, I must look like someone who really excels at directing people around the city and spelling fairly complicated words like some kind of robot. I'm not a robot -- I'm a human being who needs lots and lots of sleep!

I think, for my troubles, I deserve to see Casino Royale again -- at least once more. I hesitate to even mention it because while everyone I encountered over Christmas was eager to talk about it, they were all visibly disturbed by my having seen it 3 times already. Is that wrong? No! And who are they to judge? It's not heroin, it's (the best) movie (ever)! I CAN QUIT ANY TIME I WANT!

Considering it may be heading on its way out of theaters any week now, we see this week and next as our last reasonable opportunities to bask in the glory of Bond 21. Today may present us with the perfect chance to see it and face minimum judging from everyone else in our lives, although just thinking about it probably jinxed everything. Damn it!

Well, if you see a girl with a black bob and large, "don't look at me" sunglasses disappear suspiciously into a theater showing Casino Royale this afternoon... don't judge.
