866: "It would make me pronouce the word 'ecstatic' correctly..."

AFI is really going all out to get that MTV "Best Rock Video" award next month, even adding an audio clip to their MySpace page of Davey asking people to vote.

For a while it seemed that despite their constant campaigning to garner votes, AFI had forgotten that they already have an VMA moonman. They won the "MTV2" category a few years ago, but Chris suggested that their failure to mention that had something to do with not living in the past. "Davey is all about the now." Hmm... a new moonman for his new hair? Possibly.

In the recently posted clip, he mentions their previous win, so at least he hasn't forgotten. He also mocks himself.

You know, whether he's living in the past or the now, whether he's got Ian Astbury hair or not -- I like Davey. Give him another moonman!

If that fails, I'll just let him use my NDS for a while.
