854: "Ain’t got no job, my wife left me, bills pilin’ up, I got child-support payments."

Well, none of that's true but I've still got a lot to do -- and, it's worth noting, in 100+ degree weather.

Dealing with technical issues:

Over the weekend, I was experiencing all kinds of problems logging into Yahoo, but I don't know what possessed me to start up that awful "Entourage" program on my laptop (not to be confused with HBO's "Entourage"). This, of course, caused Entourage to eat the contents of my Yahoo inbox, leaving nothing from my Yahoo inbox folder behind. Great, right? Thanks, Entourage, I really appreciate that. If I open Entourage back up to forward some of those emails (oh, I wouldn't even consider trying to forward all of them -- that's just asking for a headache), Entourage will dutifully eat everything I've received through my Yahoo account since the previous incident. That's particularly annoying because Entourage is holding hostage all of our travel information for this weekend.

Travel information? Yes. We're going to Illinois via Indiana (don't look at me like that, Indianapolis is closer to where we're headed than Chicago) and spending the weekend celebrating Ryan and Aili's nuptials.

Looking good:

In addition to getting all our crap together for the trip -- informational and otherwise -- we've got to pick up Pete's tux, run some last minute errands so we can look purdy for the wedding.

Working:

And that's saying nothing about the amount of work-work we've got to do before leaving. Life in the office is always hectic.

But in all fairness, it's so hot that accomplishing any of this is an uphill battle. So, if I spend a little time enjoying the comforts of our AC while watching V for Vendetta in between obligations -- so be it.

P.S.: Happy birthday, Morgan!
