517: CELEBRITY SIGHTING: DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979

So, on my lunchbreak I'm headed up 6th Avenue, in the vicinity of Herald Square. As I'm about to cross the street, I see some lanky, Canadian-looking guys with terrible hair and I'm certain I've seen them before -- that's because they're tonight's opening act, Death From Above 1979.

They noticed me noticing them, and rather than allowing them to feel flattered by my "I know who you are" smirking, I shouted "SAY HI TO TRENT FOR ME!" as I walked past. They looked appropriately baffled but no less stoked.

I've let Chris down by not beating the singer, but maybe my neglecting to do this will result in good karma. I mean, as Chris pointed out, "That was probably the only time anyone recognized them, ever."

Probably. Well, let me think. Yeah, definitely.

Chris: they are 133t indeed
Ashley: too bad i only spy the weirdest, lamest ones
Chris: ha ha ha
Ashley: i can't wait for the day i spot morrissey. but i may get so excited that i either faint or puke on him
