485: "It's for the kids, man!"

On Saturday, I went out to CT to get something notarized at the bank my parents use. This sounds simple enough, yet it managed to become one of the single most frustrating errands in the history of things that need to be notarized. I can't get into it because thinking about it makes me want to kick my desk over and hope it bursts into flames. In any event, I returned to NYC full of cookies (thank you, Mom) and hate. On second thought, that doesn't sound so unusual but whatever.

As if to make up for the incredible experience (and I mean that in the worst way posisble) at the bank on Saturday, I was rewarded on Sunday with a re-airing of an industrial-flavored episode of "The Alternative" on VH1 Classic in which Al Jourgensen hyped Rantology and being a "crazy white guy."

I laughed, I cried, I put on some eyeliner. If Shoshi were around, I might have suggested we listen to some Ssssskin-nay Pup-pay.
