462: OH. MY. GOD.

Uh, just so you know, Friendster -- remember Friendster? -- has changed some of their settings. Now, you're able to see what other people on Friendster have viewed your profile... I'll give you a moment to think about that.

Freaked out yet?

You should be!

If you've been a freaky stalker in the past month, people will know you've been spying on them via Friendster and, likewise, you'll know what freaky stalkers have been spying on YOU!

Thankfully, I recognize most of the people on my "Who's Viewed Me" thing -- duh, you're my friends. Of course, I recognize some of you who come as a bit of a surprise.

I don't mean "surprise" like, birthday-cake-and-everyone-hiding-behind-the-couch. I mean "surprise" like, WHAT'S YOUR DAMAGE?! Stalking by people I barely even know!

God, the world is so WEIRD!

PS: No, I'm not assuming that just because you happened upon my profile, you are a big-old-freak. I'm referring to a handful of specific people whose interest in me is completely weird.

Who knew I'd make such an impression that YEARS after meeting me, you'd look me up on Friendster where we have no connecting friendships between us?

Edited to add: It seems Friendster is working on making this feature less-creepy... for the stalkers. For those of us who are completely sketched out by the stalkers... there's nothing to soothe that. (Thanks, kid who suggested drinking.)
