194: Crazy violence! Lots of blood! Nonstop Action Weekend!

Why are weekends even busier than the rest of the week?

Friday: After a busy day at the office, we saw Million Dollar Baby. I know -- took us long enough, right? We have attributed the delay to our being busy and the movie having an irritating name. In any event, we were blown away. Even though I was aware of the "plot twist," I found myself crying unabashedly and by crying, I mean, sobbing my brains out.

I have a soul after all!

Saturday: I became a mother -- but before you freak -- it's not a human baby, it's an eight-week-old dwarf rabbit named Dewey Nosferatu. His interests include eating apple slices and running along the top of the couch. He also enjoys the Smiths and is inexplicably drawn to the Swifter. I'll post pictures soon!

I went to a Knicks game. The audience included Howard Stern, "Fat Joe" (who jiggled along happily to that "yeah" song which accompanies 90% of all major sporting events), more than a handful of lamers, and one exceptionally trashy but otherwise very polite girl experiencing some sort of self-imposed "wardrobe malfunction." Class!

Sunday: We alternately cleaned everything we own and hung out extensively with Dewey. Then we saw Constantine, and I was happy to inform FJ this morning that (as predicted) I loved it. After the movie, we watched the tail end of the Oscars and I conked out like it was my job. The end.
