119: Bam Margera, Philly Goth
Has Bam Margera ever officially come out of the Gothic closet?
If not, I'm outing him... right now.

Who is Bam Margera? He's a skateboarder-turned-MTV-host and, undoubtedly, a Philadelphia-area Goth. I'm not suggesting this is a bad or shameful thing; am I not inadvertently giving away something about myself in sharing these observations?
Have you see him dance in that Andrew W K video? While everyone else is throwing costumed midgets into kiddiepools of Jell-O, Bam executes the gothin'est dance move I've ever seen. It involves some kind of face-touching, arm throwing, slightly dramatic flailing.
It was at that moment that I realized: I know this guy.
Well, not really, but it's surprising our paths never crossed.
Who wants to bet he's been to Shampoo on a Wednesday night? Hmm?
This explains his fascination with HIM, of course. Hasn't he taken their logo and effectively made it his own? I'm not saying I approve or that I understand anyone's fascination with them, but it makes the whole situation very black-and-white. Or maybe just black-and-black.
