94: Here's a tip...

If you're thinking about having a Robitussin cough drop, and then following it up with orange juice... think again. Maybe it was a blessing that over the course of the last three hours I have had an unbelievable amount of work thrown at me. It took my mind off the horror in my mouth, at least momentarily.

I think I am 90% over my SARS, but not so well that I don't leave work and want to DIE. It's a shame that I seemed to be waking up every two hours last night, having a series of disturbing dreams. I am not sure whether to blame the cold medicine or the number of Falun Gong (Falun Dafa? You decide!) demonstrations I've passed in the past two or three weeks. Can anyone explain to me why, suddenly, elderly Chinese women are like Public Enemy Number One? It's like the new eyebrow threading (or the new "Flash Dancers," for the men in the audience) -- everywhere you go, someone is trying to hand you information about it. I don't know anything about it (clearly), but I will go on record as being anti- Beating of Grandmothers.

But all of this is distracting me from the most important task at hand.
No, not work.
