40: Chris buys some postmodern eyewear.

I have made some changes to the layout. Enjoy.

Nothing to report today except that after expressing a need for new sunglasses, my brother purchased expensive fake non-sunglasses glasses. Chris, of course, requires actual glasses or contacts. Discuss.

Chris: i bought really expensive oliver peoples yesterday
Ashley : man
Chris: but those are regular glasses
Chris: they don't even protect me from the sun
Chris: i know, i tried looking directly at it for 30 minutes
Chris: my eyes, ze glasses do nothing
Ashley : do you see how my mind works?
Chris: it's like a lazer!
Ashley : so are they not sunglasses
Chris: no, they are actually just fake glasses
Ashley : as in, do they not even look like sunglasses, they look like real glasses
Chris: they look more like those big plastic clown glasses
Ashley : but you can wear real glasses
Chris: oh, why did i decide to get them!?
Ashley : that is so postmodern
Chris: i know. i am deconstructing the idea of "glasses" and "sight"
Ashley : oh my god, it shakes the foundations of all i thought was real and true
Chris: i know, right?
Ashley : i no longer know what "seeing" is
Ashley : man
Chris: ha ha
Ashley : are you trying to tell me i can dodge bullets?
Chris: when the time comes, you won't have to
